All of our foam is water jet cut from 2lb polyethylene closed-end cell foam. With just a bit of customization, you would be able to have a near-custom with our inserts. With this model, we are able to offer a great product at around HALF the price of custom foam.

    I emailed Frank a few weeks ago to ask if he would consider making/selling “blank” foam that was pre-cut to fit the Savior Equipment “guitar” case. He was very responsive and as promised, this item eventually showed up on the website. Once it was available, he personally reached back out to let me know, so I immediately ordered a set along with a few of his foam rivets.

    I received everything within a week of ordering and have been very satisfied so far. The kit comes with two “thicker” pieces and three “thinner” pieces of foam. I personally paired two of the thinner pieces with the two thicker ones to make two distinct “trays.” The remaining thinner piece stores nicely in the bottom of the case, but could alternatively serve as the topmost layer.

    I specifically use this to hold two full loadouts of Cowboy Action Shooting competition firearms, or 8 guns in total: 1 rifle, 1 shotgun, and 2 revolvers for each loadout. Each loadout fits just right on each “tray.” I initially attempted this setup with the stock foam that comes with the case, but that starting to fall apart after only a few matches’ worth of firearms coming into and out of the case. This foam is much firmer so was easier to trace, cut, and set up… not to mention how much more secure it feels once everything is in. Just be sure to watch the videos on his website and YouTube channel on how to use spray adhesive and rivets to make the “trays” as strong as possible.
